Animation restricted to transform & opacity, honors reduced-motion, and every effect has a static version that still feels elegant.

Lightweight is a feature

Strict performance budget (LCP < 2.5s, INP < 200ms): no downloaded fonts, no heavy trackers, images through a modern pipeline.

TYPE & COLOR

Local letters, four rivers of color

Fonts are served locally (no external fetches): Space Grotesk for display, Inter for reading. Four spectrum accents — life, creation, technology, nature — used sparingly as wayfinding, never decoration.

MEDIA

Photography, respected

Originals are kept intact; delivery goes through next/image with responsive sizes. A gentle Ken Burns drift brings key photographs alive — and switches off entirely for those who prefer stillness.

ACCESSIBILITY

For every way of reading

WCAG AA contrast in both light and dark modes, full keyboard navigation, visible focus, and content intact in the DOM without JavaScript — motion is a bonus, never a requirement.
